Here are a few of the projects I've worked on:
The FOS project (Growersbc.com) is a perfect example of how custom software can streamline the various tasks faced by you, your business, or your organization. Grower information is managed and provided to participating growers associations, while avoiding data incorrectness caused by unnecessary duplication and subsequent data branching.
Growersbc.com is a commodity-based address-management system. Address data is centralized so as to better manage information. The system also boasts a powerful search feature which automates the selection process.
Driediger Farms needed their website redesigned and their data redistributed throughout it. They wanted something fun for kids, while at the same time something that adults could easily extract information from. Conveniently, that is what they received.
Blueridge Produce is a company by the good people who run Driediger Farms. Thinking of usability, I wanted the Blueridge Produce website to have its own distinct look, while maintaining the overall style of the Driediger Farms websites.
Bradicon! is a web-based way to create 32bit icons from your image files. Simply upload a PNG, JPG, or GIF and download the ICO file it creates for you. The icons contain three resources (48x48, 32x32, 16x16) and preserve transparency.
Bradicon! is powered by a low-level data-manipulation engine I wrote using PHP. While PHP might not have been the most efficient way to go about it, it was certainly interesting and I enjoy a challenge.
A flurry of ill-formatted code works its way across the internet, neatly wrapped in tiny packages generated by instant messagers. Pasting code into an instant message, while convenient, rarely works out well. And that is where this “World Wide Web” comes in. It saunters in, wearing its glittering shades with an easy confidence as its poorly chosen hat rests awkwardly atop its head. He carries with him a solution although it is difficult to find against the backdrop of the shirt he seemingly purchased solely for its garish juxtaposition of bright and strangely flashing colours.
Codepaste - featuring both dark and light skins - just paste in some code, and it will store it for anyone to view. Codepaste »
BPaint is a paint program written in Actionscript 3. It supports multiple layers, zooms, and rasterizes as you draw. It exports to PNGs.
A demo of some of its features is available to try.
BGallery - a system made to manage multiple galleries.
Being required to upload specific thumbnails for galleries has always bothered me. Luckily, sometime during September of 2006, I was asked about online photo galleries -- providing me with the perfect excuse to try to design an intuitive solution to the thumbnail problem. It worked out rather well.
